Sharing a single bathroom with children can quickly become a daily challenge for any family. This household wanted a private retreat that would bring both comfort and style to their daily routine. To meet their needs without leaving the home they love, we planned to build a spacious addition with a new bedroom and bathroom, providing the privacy and security they had been missing.

The project began with adding a sizable extension to the back of the house. This addition created room for both a new primary bedroom and bathroom, relieving the stress of shared spaces. By thoughtfully expanding the footprint, we ensured the new rooms would feel connected to the existing home while providing a fresh, private area for the family.

Bold Colors In The Design

Color played a big role in defining the space. The bathroom features a blue vanity large enough for two people to use comfortably. Blue hexagon tiles form the shower wall, creating a striking feature that ties in visually with the complementary hexagon tiles covering the bathroom floor. Gold fixtures throughout add warmth and a contrast that balances hues perfectly.

Staying Consistent In Detail

The primary bedroom, part of the same addition, needed to feel like a natural extension of the home. To achieve this, we installed new hardwood floors that match the original floors in the rest of the house, allowing the new space to feel fresh yet familiar.
